Use your own database
Advantage mailer allows you to use your own database, CRM package (Customer Relation Management system), website or other online available system to manage your email addresses, allowing you to maintain your emailing list elsewhere, and simply use advantage mailer to send and monitor your emails. We support the following:
You can connect advantage mailer to your online ACT! system. A connection to your ACT system must be available online.
- Sugar CRM
Sugar CRM can be configured to allow remote access to the core database, which advantage mailer can connect to in order to download and send your emails.
Salesforce provide an online interface (API) that advantage mailer can use to connect to in order to download and send your emails.
- Microsoft Dynamics
Microsoft Dynamics provide's an online interface (API) that advantage mailer can use to connect to in order to download and send your emails.
You can connect advantage mailer to any ODBC database that is available online. We will need to be able to access your database if it is behind a firewall, if necessary, we can work with your IT providers to setup secure methods of access, e.g. firewall rules, VPN tunnels etc. ODBC databases can include:
Microsoft Access Database
Microsoft SQL Server Database
Other SQL type databases.
Each different database system offers different connectivity and functionality, in some instances, advantage mailer will be able to send reports of opened emails straight back into your database / CRM system.
